Kiwi Steve isn't British, but he lived in Wales for a while! Does that count?
Pictured at Muroc with his better half, Julia, after setting a record.

Shug (centre) "busy" before his record run.(The Sun is a quality British tabloid newspaper famous for it's topless
Page 3 Girls- remember Sam Fox?)

Shug Hanchard. Rod builder extrodinaire from Bonnie Scotland. He generally knocks out a new
car every 2-3 months.

Hank the Swede's A Coupe. Hank's never even been to Britain, but he works for Steve at the Limeworks, and that's good enough for me. The car is now back in Sweden.

Cast your eyes not at Shug's deuce grilled '31A, but at the one behind it. Martin Grossmith bought the "A" roadster in L.A. It's now in England and competes (is that the right word?) in the flathead meltdown!(4 Cylinder cannon fodder division, as Matt Farrant puts it)
Pictured here at Tom's Fun Run 1998.

Right, heres the story. you drag the chassis out from beneath the 'Uncle John' A stashed at the side of the house...

..You then get that pile of bits piled up at the back of the garage., you ship 'em back to blighty, and end up with this.
All credit to Matt Farrant.

Dave talked his pal Rich Selway into buying this Model A coupe at the L.A. Roadster Show. The car
is now back in Birmingham, England and is being hot rodded.

That Baldy Geezer in the shades is Steve Dennish. He used to be a local Rodder, but after after being Jerry Kugel's
primo honcho for a while, is now the proprieter of the Limeworks hot rod shop. His Flathead deuce looks real sharp.

Steve built this '32 in the UK before he went to work for Jerry Kugel. He still has the car. It features a UK produced glass body by Jago. The A beside it is now in the UK, owned by Martin Grossmith.

Ex Pat Steve Ricketts, another Brummie, discovers his truck comes with a built-in convenient bum-perch,
at the L.A. Roadster Show.

Don't know much about this one, there's no uk connection. Owner obviously has a thing for old bikes too.

Thanks for the latest batch of photo's Dave, I thought I could have a breather after gettng all those vintage pics online,
but you obviously don't like to see me sitting about do you? Keep 'em coming, mate.
